Our rural school Kalaivani Kalvi Maiyam, which provides completely free education to rural children, faced delays getting approvals from the previous government. Of course, significant money was demanded and we were told that was the only way, even if it is a completely free school.

After @TVKVijayHQ came to power, approvals have happened quickly and automatically.

और यह फूलप्रूफ भी नहीं है - यह देश का हर छात्र जानता है, और पेपर लीक माफ़िया भी। फिर अगला ban किसपर लगाएंगे? WhatsApp?

परीक्षा के दिन छात्रों की तलाशी होगी। जेबें कैंची से काटी जाएँगी। प्रश्नपत्र वायुसेना से भेजे जाएँगे। दिखावे की कोई कमी नहीं होगी।

पर बीमारी की जड़ पर एक वार भी नहीं - क्योंकि पेपर लीक माफ़िया इसी सरकार की देख-रेख में फल-फूल रहा है, और युवाओं को खून के आँसू रुला रहा है।

Today’s DMK GenZ event may create the illusion that the party also commands a strong youth vote base. However, to truly influence Gen Z, one must first influence their parents. DMK needs to pass on its ideology within its own households. Everything else is nothing more than eyewash.

There is a significant generational gap between those born in the 1990s and Gen Z. Many of my friends in HR and IT have shared that they struggle to manage Gen Z employees. I, too, find it increasingly difficult to get meaningful work done from Gen Z team members. Now imagine DMK leaders born in the 1970s and 1980s spearheading such campaigns.

To genuinely bring Gen Z into the party, DMK should appoint a real Gen Z leader for the youth wing, select a 1990s-born individual as the IT wing head, and field young candidates in MLA, local body, and MP elections. Only through these concrete steps can the party infuse fresh Gen Z energy. Without them, it will remain an illusion.

பக்தரை போல் கோயிலுக்கு வந்து ஆய்வு செய்த அமைச்சர் ரமேஷ்: முருகனின் இரண்டாம் படை வீடான திருச்செந்தூர் சுப்பிரமணிய சுவாமி கோயிலில் அறநிலையத்துறை அமைச்சர் ரமேஷ் திடீர் ஆய்வு மேற்கொண்டார். வழக்கம்போல் அதிகாரிகளிடம் சொல்லிவிட்டு ஆய்வுக்கு வருவதைப் போல் அல்லாமல் பக்தரைப் போல் கோயிலுக்குள் வந்தார். முக கவசம் அணிந்திருந்ததால் அங்குள்ள செக்யூரிட்டிகள் உட்பட யாருக்குமே அவரை அடையாளம் தெரியவில்லை. அவர் கோயில் பக்தர்களுக்கு வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ள அடிப்படை வசதிகள் குறித்து முதலில் ஆய்வு மேற்கொண்டார். தொடர்ந்து அவர் பக்தர்கள் தரிசனத்தில் முறையாக அனுமதிக்கப்படுகிறார்களா அல்லது பணம் வாங்கிக் கொண்டு வெளியில் யாரும் விஐபிகள் என்ற பெயரில் சிலரை மட்டும் தனியாக அனுப்புகிறார்களா என்பது தொடர்பாக கோயிலுக்கு வந்த பக்தர்களிடம் கேட்டறிந்தார். ஏற்கனவே இக்கோயிலில் தரிசன டிக்கெட் முறைகேடு விவகாரத்தில் ஊழியர் ஒருவர் சஸ்பெண்ட செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளார். இது தொடர்பாக அதிகாரிகள் முதல் கடை நிலை ஊழியர்கள் வரை அனைவருக்கும் தொடர்பு இருப்பது தெரிய வந்தாலும் ஊழியர் ஒருவரை மட்டும் பணி இடை நீக்கம் செய்துவிட்டு மற்றவர்கள் தப்பித்துக் கொண்டார்கள். இது தொடர்பாகவும் அவர் பணியில் இருந்த ஊழியர்களிடம் விசாரணை நடத்தினார். முன்னதாக அமைச்சர் ஆய்வுக்கு வந்தது கூட தெரியாமல் பணிக்கு ஊழியர்கள் யாரும் சரிவர வரவில்லை. இதனால் அதிர்ச்சி அடைந்த அமைச்சர் இது தொடர்பாக அதிகாரிகளை கடிந்து கொண்டதாகவும் பக்தர்கள் தெரிவித்தனர். திருச்செந்தூர் முருகன் கோயிலில் தினமும் ஆயிரக்கணக்கானோர் மற்றும் விடுமுறை நாட்களில் லட்சக்கணக்கான குவிந்து வருகின்றனர். இக்கோயிலுக்கு வரும் பக்தர்கள் விரைந்து தரிசனம் ஏதுவாக அமைச்சர் மாற்று ஏற்பாடு செய்ய வேண்டும் என்பதே அனைவரது கோரிக்கையாக உள்ளது

துணிச்சலாக செயல்படும் அமைச்சர் பிரபு: பாராட்டாத அரசியல் கட்சிகள் : பல்லாயிரம் கோடி இழப்பு வசூல் ஆகும் என்பதால் முதல்வர் விஜய் மகிழ்ச்சி: தமிழ்நாடு முதல்வர் விஜய் அமைச்சரவையில் கனிமவளத்துறை அமைச்சராக பொறுப்பேற்றுள்ள டி கே பிரபு வேகமாக செயல்பட்டு வருகிறார். அவர் பொறுப்பேற்ற நாள் முதல் தமிழ்நாடு முழுவதும் உள்ள அனைத்து குவாரிகளிலும் ஆய்வு செய்யவும், விதிமீறல்கள் கண்டுபிடிக்கப்பட்டால் உடனடியாக அது தொடர்பான அறிக்கை அளிக்கவும் உத்தரவிட்டிருந்தார். மேலும் அமைச்சர் பிரபு அவர்களே நேரடியாக குவாரிகளில் ஆய்வு நடத்தினார். சமீபத்தில் கூட தென்காசி மாவட்டம் புளியரை சோதனை சாவடி வழியாக கேரளாவுக்கு விதிமுறை மீது கனிமங்கள் கடத்தப்படுவதாக புகார் வந்தது. இதைதொடர்ந்து அதிகாலை 2 மணி அளவில் அதிரடி சோதனை நடத்திய அமைச்சர் பிரபு ஒவ்வொரு லாரிகளாக வழிமறித்து சோதனை செய்து, விதிமுறை மீறி லாரிகள் கனிமங்கள் கொண்டு செல்லப்படுகின்றதா என்று சோதனை நடத்தினார். இதைத்தொடர்ந்து தென்காசி மாவட்டத்தில் விதிமுறை மீறி செயல்பட்டதாக கண்டுபிடிக்கப்பட்ட 18 குவாரிகளை மூட உத்தரவிட்டார். தொடர்ந்து கன்னியாகுமரி மாவட்டத்தில் இரண்டு குவாரிகளை மூட உத்தரவிட்டார். இன்று விருதுநகர் மாவட்டத்தில் 23 குவாரிகளை மூட உத்தரவிட்டார். குவாரிகளில் விதிமீறல் இருப்பது தெரிய வந்தால் உடனுக்குடன் மூடுவது மட்டுமின்றி அரசுக்கு ஏற்பட்டுள்ள இழப்பை வசூலிக்கவும் அமைச்சர் பிரபு உத்தரவிட்டுள்ளார். இதன் மூலம் அரசுக்கு பல ஆயிரம் கோடிக்கு மேல் இழப்பு வசூல் ஆகும் என்று எதிர்பார்க்கப்படுகிறது. தொடர்ந்து மற்ற மாவட்டங்களிலும் குவாரிகள் ஆய்வு செய்யப்பட்டு வருவதால் முழுமையாக ஆய்வு முடிந்த பிறகு எத்தனை குவாரிகளில் விதிமீறல் நடந்திருப்பது என்பது தொடர்பாக விரிவான அறிக்கையை தரவும் அமைச்சர் முடிவு செய்துள்ளார். அமைச்சரின் இந்த அதிரடி நடவடிக்கையை இதுவரை எந்த கட்சிகளும் பாராட்டவில்லை. மண்ணுக்கான அரசியல் நாங்கள் செய்கிறோம் என்று சொல்லக்கூடிய நாம் தமிழர் கட்சி போன்ற தமிழ் தேசிய இயக்கங்கள் எல்லாம் மௌனம் காக்கிறது. இருப்பினும் பாராட்டுக்கு ஏங்காமல் அரசுக்கு பல்லாயிரம் கோடி வருவாய் கிடைப்பதற்காக நடவடிக்கை எடுத்து வரும் அமைச்சர் பிரபுவுக்கு இயற்கை ஆர்வலர்கள் வாழ்த்துக்களையும், பாராட்டுகளையும் தெரிவித்து வருகின்றனர்

Four years ago, I sat down with my 12-year-old daughter in the US and told her I was walking away from a successful tech career and real estate business to return to India for public service and politics.

At that age, she didn’t realize “public life” would slowly take her Appa away from her for months… and years.

But I came with conviction.

So for the last 4 years, we gave everything we had — for example -In villages like Subramaniapuram and Vellanaikottai, we built bus shelters, restored a 100-acre pond, removed seemai karuvelam, strengthened bunds, planted thousands of palm saplings, supported students’ education, organized medical camps and career workshops, built community sheds, encouraged youth and sports activities, and contributed to annadanams.

It cost several ten lakhs of hard-earned money - just for this village alone. But more than money, it cost time… family moments… and precious years watching my daughter grow up from far away.

Then elections came.

And the same village chose a candidate who had barely visited them in five years.

In the end, one week of election-time money defeated four years of sincere service.

Yesterday, my daughter quietly asked me over video call:

“Appa… can you now tell me what exactly politics is?”

For the first time in my life, I did not have an answer for my chellaponnu.

For every non BJP state government, governor is the first opposition party.

Instead of playing with words and numbers, it is very clear that public mandate is for Vijay.

In my view DMK government gave a good governance. Still the public mandate was not for them.

Every decision has consequences. Whether it is centre or some parties in the state, trying to overturn people's mandate would have to pay a huge political cost.

If people don't like Vijay's government, they would not give him another chance. But preventing him now, when people want Vijay to be the Chief Minister is completely overturning people's mandate.

It is not fair. I strongly believe every neutral person in the state would feel the same way.

Some political analysts are talking about DMK and ADMK joining together to form government. Numerically they may be able to do it. The government cannot last for 5 years due to long term traditional rivalry and acrimony.

This would end up making Vijay Chief Minister for rest of his life.

If Vijay is not able to provide good governance, he cannot get people's mandate next time. Why afraid to give opportunity to Vijay now based on people's mandate?
