It was great to have Sid at @iitbombay. During his two-day visit, we had a chance to have interaction and detailed discussions on collaboration and strengthening our research to solve complex coastal problems relevant to both India and US #flumefriday
I wouldn't recommend @DTDCIndia to anyone for shipping. They went radio silence on my damage claims despite paying risk surcharge. Such a shame. @jagograhakjago@PIBConsumerFood
🚨 NEW PAPER ALERT 🚨
Thrilled to share my 2nd PhD article! We compared inverse and forward numerical modelling to simulate the 2015 Chile tsunami. Huge thanks to @ananth_w, @AYAnnieLau, @geastonvargas, and @tanghui_tsunami. Check it out: https://t.co/oMkKg28abA
Can't be more excited to share that @TomasLe24613418 is now Dr Tomás León after a smooth oral defence! He used a combined forward-inverse modelling method to examine tsunami wave features of 3 events in N Chile for his PhD
#proudadvisor with @ananth_w
Good news, our #abstract submission deadline has been extended until Friday 20th May! Is your abstract in the pipeline?⏱
We have received some excellent submissions and look forwards to the excellent presentations throughout #AusYCSEC2022

So get writing and come join our in person central hub in Newcastle or a local hub near you for a fab conference in July this year!
#UQ scientists are encouraging coral recovery in the Great Barrier Reef, giving nature a chance to bounce back from climate change. Find out how https://t.co/zIHRHZqS4u @GBRFoundation @aims_gov_au@QUT @UQScience @envirogov #RRAP#ReefTrust#unlockingscience
The BBC followed us around for a few days on Heron Is. and made this little gem about our work ❤️🌊 @ananth_w@petemumby @UQscience …& note the jetty walk slo-mos @ChrisRoelfsema 😉 https://t.co/uBNw2fAnjd
I am delighted by the news that @UQ_News is at the top with highest number of Highly Cited Researchers (Clarivate) in Australia for 2021. Such a motivation to be working among inspiring researchers! #australia#university#research
@alexbexe@DualSPHysics That is great! I have done some comparisons of experimental data with @DualSPHysics which you will see in the thesis, but not very extensive.
On this #FLumeFriday, I am happy to share that I have been formally conferred PhD by The University of Queensland. In my research, I studied inundation due to tsunami propagation into coastal rivers and the wave impacts on bridge pier scour. 1/2
@alexbexe Hi Alejandro, I could not send a dm, but here you can download a copy of my thesis. Perhaps I can provide raw data once the papers are published. https://t.co/OtDNbelywI
