It's remarkable how this looks like an inverted rents vs. permits chart
Places that permit many apartments have lower rents. Places that permit lots of power generation have lower electricity prices
Places that fail to permit things have higher both!
It's not the data centers!
@Reflexxis@CS2News_EN unemployment is a skill issue, i have never had problems getting employed as a SWE even before my degree.
what other measure do you want? the only other you stated was “well these degrees make people happy” which doesn’t make it useful to society
@Reflexxis@CS2News_EN even degrees where you make analyses on sports teams are much more irrelevant than STEM degrees
what do language degrees add to society and economy?
@Reflexxis@CS2News_EN losing the importance debate of degrees so you fall back on “as long as i’m happy”, yeah you’re still pretty much worthless to our society compared to STEM degrees
@Reflexxis@CS2News_EN do you even know what a cs degree is if you ask what people do after it?
software has been the driving factor of our society in the last decades. made us all more wealthy and healthy as a society
what did language degrees do during that time?
@Reflexxis@CS2News_EN nice 3 years for a useless degree just for connections and experiences, totally worth it
ohhh but the jobs of people at museums!! oh no!
@Reflexxis@CS2News_EN none of the things you stated are useful.
marketing does not require a language degree. useless waste of a degree.
you could argue about being a teacher, but there are definitely better and more efficient ways to be a teacher.
