This is how we live in Gaza under the weight of genocide and displacement. Children have been deprived of their most basic rights, living inside a tent surrounded by dirt and fire instead of the warmth of a home and the safety of childhood.
My children do not dream of toys or a luxurious life, but simply of a meal to satisfy their hunger, a home to protect them, and days when they no longer have to fear tomorrow.
