The 36th annual Sovereignty Symposium was held this week in downtown OKC and was hosted by OCU Law and OCU.

One of the highlights for the record-setting 650+ attendees was the opening ceremony, where all of Oklahoma’s 39 tribes were represented in the flag processional.

OCU Law and OCU made the exciting announcement this week that OCU Law will be the home of the new Tribal Sovereignty Institute!

The first phase of the Institute will include the hiring of an executive director, who will be a full-time member of the law school faculty. 1/
