This changed my life.
Mouth taping increased my deep sleep by 30+ minutes, every single night.
I waited for 10 days to post this to make sure it was real, and it is.
Context: I snore a lot. My typical deep sleep used to be 1 to 1.5 hours a night, regardless of my sleeping position (side or back). As a result, I woke up groggy. It took 30 minutes to get out of bed.
So I recorded myself sleeping to understand what's going on: every 15 minutes, I'd make a gasping sound. Mouth breathing creates airway collapse → tiny blockages → micro-wakeups → less deep sleep.
My nose is big but useless. I can't breathe with it. Nasal stripes made me rediscover nose breathing, but I'm still trained to breathe with my mouth.
That's where mouth tape comes in: It forces me to breathe through my nose (which is now working, thanks to nasal strips). Now:
- I get an extra 30 minutes of deep sleep per night
- I wake up in 10 seconds
I'm not a doctor, but seriously, if you snore, try this. It feels like cheating.
@FastSpring Does FastSpring checkout work correctly with ad blockers like uBlock? I noticed that your dashboard and contact form don't load with uBlock enabled. Will this cause issues for customers trying to pay?
