Hi @JohnLewisRetail - how can I check if any of these shops actually have the requested item (37713603, Large) before making a special journey… potentially in vain?
@JohnLewisRetail So you’re saying, right now, all those shops definitely have one each in stock, so I can safely make a journey and it should be available for me to purchase?
Hi @Wimbledon. Just wanted to drop a line to say how very grateful my wife and I are for an incredible night of tennis. Particular thanks to uniformed volunteer steward Molly (poss had a double-barrelled forename?) on Centre Court whose enthusiasm was infectious and was an asset.
Hi @waitrose. What is it with motorbike riders, loading up with deliveries to make for you, constantly parking in the disabled bays at your Maidenhead store? There are plenty of other bays available. Signage is quite clear these are for Blue Badge holders only. What can be done?
Hi @waitrose. Bought this apple juice. Had leaked out of the carton’s bottom (top seal remained intact) in my bag and onto my other groceries, by the time I got home to unpack it.
Hi @Top_CashBack. I requested a voucher payout early yesterday and it promised delivery within 1 working day… but still hasn’t arrived. Please advise. Thank you.
Hi @waitrose. Bought this British Cheesemakers box, and partner on the counter warned me one item on a short date (hence price reduction). Sure enough, Camembert expires in four days’ time — fair enough. But the Harrogate Blue (my favourite!) is already three days past use-by. ☹️
Hi @waitrose. I topped up my shop yesterday to qualify for the next (£100) January threshold, for Little Treats.
But having done so, no fresh voucher became available…
Reloaded the app a couple of times; and checked back today, just in case. But still nothing. What did I miss?
Hi @johnlewishelp.
Went to return some items in an online order. Delivered to store 2 January.
Was told I had a 30-day window. That would make the day after tomorrow (1 Feb) the deadline.
But website says I cannot return, suggesting may be “past the 30-day return period”?
Hi @Gails_Bakery I know it’s the run up to Christmas and your staff are busy. But is it too much to expect your loos be kept clean and tidy? Doesn’t inspire confidence over hygiene of kitchen. Millennium Bridge, but could be virtually any branch I’ve visited, at any time of year.
Incredibly unimpressed with @Uber_Support. Called this morning more than 48hrs after being promised a 6month Disney+ trial; told they actually take 72hrs to come through, but my case would be stored. Ring back after 72hrs; no record of case; entirely unhelpful asst cuts off call!
For what it’s worth, my mother – looking for a christening gift – had a much more satisfactory experience. One partner suggested a lovely idea, took her downstairs to where it would be, and when she found it to unfortunately be out-of-stock, offered assistance in ordering one in.
A quiet afternoon in High Wycombe. Overheard a fellow @JohnLewisRetail customer ask for assistance buying an iPad: “I’d like to know about the prices on these”, he said. The partner referred him simply to the device itself: “If you just tap the screen, the price should come up.”
Look, if we want our bricks-and-mortar retailers to survive – and I, more than most, really do: I love John Lewis almost more than is healthy – it’s essential to offer something shoppers can’t get from an app or the Internet. For goodness’ sake, don’t just point them to a screen.
