@CharityHedge Totally. But where is liquidity coming from you reckon? If I’m long only PM, by now I should be fully invested. HF PMs surely can’t be net short right now. I can’t figure it out cuz this is some serious relentless flow...Perhaps out of FI into equity macro re-allocation?
@CharityHedge That’s my goal...fare abbastanza soldi per vivere in Italia w zero fucks given. Qualità della vita fantastica...ma non un paese dove si può lavorare...politicians are a joke, country is a mess...we just like it that way. So have a career and make money outside, go back to retire
@CharityHedge How about MSCI Asia XJP. I know EEM is mostly Asia anyways but at least w something like AAXJ don’t have the drag of latam (which may not be a drag, I don’t know)
@CharityHedge I think you are right but then the question becomes valuations. Where do we go from here in SPX? Multiple expansion? Faster Earnings growth? Combination of both I guess but from I can tell you are thinking of better equities market outside US. DAX or JP is then the next question
@CharityHedge Someone must have been coaching him..he sounds like a completely different person from just months ago....he even kind hinted to low rates for long long time...or at least that’s how I interpreted some sentences. Interesting...
@CharityHedge Can’t help but to think the probability of that scenario are not negligeable. Increasingly so if news flow from G20 is positive and NFP decent. Trying to think what the best play could be to be prepared if that scenario materializes...
@CharityHedge Maybe a dumb thought: EEM. Weak $ and if we are really going back to zero, central banks around the world will be inclined to join the party.
@CharityHedge I personally agree w scenario you are painting but I wonder whether long 2-yr is the most optimal trade vis-a-vis EURUSD. In other words, is optionality in 2-yr less than that in the EURUSD?
