If only @scribd was more honest in their marketing. “You’ll get 4 audiobooks per month that you want to listen to. After that we’ll give you access to a few random books that no-one has any interest in listening to & block you from all the rest”. That would at least be honest.

@AskScribd I’m paying you monthly only to have access to books drastically limited within about a week each month. It is hugely annoying. Not sure how long I will be sticking around. Just be honest in your advertising: “You can listen to 5 books a month. That’s it”.

If my students have a pet and it doesn't make an appearance, I'm marking it as absent so it has to come see me during lunch.
