Come on AANA. You leave out physicians have a degree prior to medical school with as many prerequisites as there are nursing courses in your bachelors. Medical school is 4 years of only medical education. And our residency is 4 years. That intern year is important, and intense.
The Anesthesiologist: So much more than that person who “puts you to sleep...” 👇🏽

I was called to be a physician.
I'm proud to be an #anesthesiologist.
4 yrs med school, 4 yrs residency, 1 yrs fellowship, 15 yrs in practice and I still LOVE IT!
This is why I won't stand by while AANA insults my profession.

This is shameful
While I am not an anesthesiologist, we should all agree that this kind of rhetoric is harmful to medicine and to patients
Could you imagine if a physician group said something similarly disparaging about CRNAs?
Shame on you AANA @aanawebupdates
