@meithan42 @fromwithinuk @engineers_feed There are special relativity and general relativity. They are different cases. Our universe is governed by general relativity in the big scales. Special relativity is not applied to our reality if I'm not mistaken.

Even being as close as 1m from the source, by the time you see it, you are seeing the past of it. Even the gap of time being so so small, it's still there.

Living in 2D space with some quantum fields providing data to insert a 3D notion? I can't hold myself to think that some alien specie can't grasp more layers of this reality than we do.

We are surrounded by neutrinos coming from every direction, dark matter and other things like maybe gravitons an so on. We do not account for that. Not to mention the majority of the electromagnetic range.

They will get a huge leap. But if you actually wants to improve public health, show people the right way of living healthy.

But what do you have to say about those who eat very badly, doesn't exercise at all, hold on to nasty habits, doesn't sleep properly, are fat and packed with chronicle diseases? It came to me because you said that the amount of energy released in the explosion around the supermassive BH seemed greater than the total amount of material in the surroundings, even it not being possible, and it's not a well understood phenomena even nowadays. Interesting!!!

@DanielandJorge listening the EP about the biggest explosion in the Universe made me think about Contact (Carl Sagan) where the caretakers were taking material from our center of the Galaxy and sending it to other galaxy to avoid the effects of Dark Energy.
