@mdf200@UKLabour@AnasSarwar Those thousands of people are all admin and managerial. The middle-management bloat in the NHS has been a point of a complaint for many, many years. So is it right to try to address that or not? What's the answer?
Twitter has become the old Digg without categories. Just a scrolling page of nonsense. Probably 1 in every 25 posts I see is someone I follow. It's got to the point where if I see a blue tick, I skip past it.
@UridiumAuthor Where were you located and what was the sound quality like? I was seated on the 2nd row on the right, near to the front and it was appalling. It was mostly just a loud rumble.
A poor quality photo but with high quality subjects. Mr. @fromwithinuk, @RussellKay and my good self signing a big pile of Psygnosis posters after our talk.
@TDK_Chiptune@Starcadian He really was. His albums were soundtracks to 80s sci-fi films that didn't exist. He was also a visual effects artist by day and made his own brilliant music videos. https://t.co/MnWRR3eIDe
RIP @Starcadian who was killed this weekend. He was a great guy. Always super-enthusiastic, totally into Amiga and Atari ST music, and far too talented. I've known him since before he finished his first album and what he achieved on his own since then has been truly inspirational
@Joe_Lowery215 4/4 I have to presume that you really just want the 6581 Pulse+Saw. If you want a fatter version the best method is to sample a low note from the real thing, EQ it to how you like it, and then cut out a single-cycle waveform from the result.
@Joe_Lowery215 3/4 For inSIDious, I first used generated combined waveforms, but they sounded wrong compared to the real SID, so I recorded the combined waves from one of my 6581s and my 8580 and used wavetables. The end result is the same as if I'd spent ages tailoring the generated waves.
@mdf200 It should have been much more successful. Great hardware and software. And at a time when internet set-top-boxes were a thing, it was cheaper than all of them and had better internet capabilities.
