I spoke to @KenRoth for the @newlinesmag podcast for a discussion all about taking on abusive governments, the strategy and morality of human rights, as well as his new book Righting Wrongs. Take a listen here: https://t.co/263YIeBYFW
I went to Masafer Yatta yesterday, already a crucible of IDF and settler violence. After decades of struggle against the occupation, situation since 7/10 is now so bad some communities have decided they have lost. They don't know where to go. https://t.co/PLOJaZtHq6
Journalist Issam Abddalah’s last Instagram post was of Shireen Abu Akleh, a fellow journalist also killed by the Israelis. May both their memories be a blessing and justice be served.

Twitter, it's been a minute but there's good reason. We're working on something really exciting
@kerningcultures. The what: one of the most audacious heists you've ever heard of. The where: Lebanon, of course. Stay tuned ...
Quand tu regarderas le ciel, la nuit, puisque j'habiterai dans l'une d'elles, puisque je rirai dans l'une d'elles, alors ce sera pour toi comme si riaient tous les etoiles. Tu auras toi, les etoiles qui savent rire.

Thinking of everyone in or from Beirut affected by August 4 yet to receive any kind of justice or accountability. Thankful again to those who shared their stories with us last year. Listen with care. https://t.co/cKEF5oaSHV
I’m moving to Istanbul from my beloved Beirut after five years living in the city. It’s definitely not a forever goodbye - I’ll be back often. My friends have promised to send mouneh and concerned voice notes that I’m not eating enough for the full Lebanese expat experience.
Job news! I’m thrilled to say that I’m now a podcast producer with the wonderful humans @kerningcultures and @KCNetworkArabic. It’s a great organisation producing the MENA/SWANA region’s best podcasts. I can’t wait to get started.
This means I’ve said goodbye to @thenationalnews and my lovely colleagues in the Beirut bureau. I’m really proud of what we made together and I wish them all the very best.
Martyn was my neighbour when he lived in London. He came up for drinks once. We had too much to drink and gossiped about our other neighbours. In that one short moment he made such an incredible impression. RIP.
