Bitcoin progressive. Hates authoritarians. Raising one child with autism and another without. Using $BTC, $MSTR to save for their futures and a hot tub. No DM's
@SabyStocks "Trillian" is the name of the lead female character from Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy- a book that @Saylor often references. I know how to spell "trillion" 🤣
I don't write about the topic often, but I'm a big fan of MSTR & long-time $BTC / $MSTR holder.
Actually, fun fact, I was (quietly) in the room in 2020 when @saylor held a private zoom call for 9 & 10-figure entrepreneurs & executives sharing why his company was buying bitcoin. Way above my paygrade. I was only there because I was ghostwriting for one of the guys who had been invited, and he wanted me to sit in and listen.
I've been buying MSTR ever since.
I have easily spent 3,000+ hours reading about & listening to material about BTC, preferred stock, and financial engineering.
And it continues to shock me how many people share hot takes about the company without spending even 0.0001% of that amount of time trying to understand it.
@Strategy is the most interesting company in finance.
The fact it's so polarizing IS the opportunity.
If everyone understands it, the opportunity has already passed.
I've held through multiple cycles now. And I've watched the same FUD repeat over and over and over again—each time, new tranches of critics entering the battlefield.
Pay no attention.
Just follow the money.
You really think the government and Blackrock are gonna buy stuff that is going to 0?
So let me get this straight.
Jake Tapper is focused on attacking my Mom.
Jared and Ivanka are building a private island paradise on Albanian protected land.
Don Jr married the daughter of Epstein’s banker, and a startup his fund backs just got a record $620M Pentagon loan.
Eric is taking an Israeli drone company public for $1.5B in the middle of a war with Iran that nobody wanted.
And I know: “But what about your paintings, Hunter?”
Please.
@SimonDixonTwitt Perhaps self custody for the individuals who get it, and letting BTC get integrated into the plumbing of the system are both good things. Perhaps the former group will be rewarded by their leap of faith and foresight, the later will benefit everyone else through sound money
If capitalism is so great, why do corporations need tax breaks, subsidies, exemptions, grants, bailouts, legal protections, and trade barriers to survive? And when ordinary people ask for help, why is it suddenly called socialism?
Imagine if a woman president crashed the economy and started a war with no end in sight, and her biggest, seemingly ONLY concern was building a ballroom and redecorating the White House.
$MSTR had to sell the BTC to show the rating agencies that they have the capital to cover dividend obligations.
If Saylor refused to sell BTC, then rating agencies would not recognize it as capital.
People are freaking out because Strategyᴮ sold 32 BTC.
That’s 0.0038% of its 843,738 BTC stack.
Meanwhile Jeff Walton @PunterJeff just explained the real issue: legacy finance is still treating billions in Bitcoin on the balance sheet like it’s worth zero.
So Saylor sells a tiny piece, converts it to cash, and forces them to admit the asset is real.

So what we're supposed to believe is that a guy who only had 75 donations from Kentucky, an empty victory party, and nobody at his rallies, managed to double turnout from 2024 plus get all 10k mail in ballots
KY-4 may have been outright fraud
These numbers don't make sense
🇺🇸 Massie lost his primary tonight despite passing the most consequential accountability legislation in modern history.
The Epstein Files Transparency Act just hit 6 months: 24+ CEOs removed, an ambassador, a prime minister, a minister of culture.
He was winning voters under 45 by 30 points.
And he still lost.
Rep. Ro Khanna put it simply: Massie put his career on the line to pass the most popular bipartisan bill in a generation, and the Republican machine cut him anyway.
Anti-establishment politicians who actually deliver results are being purged from the same coalition that claims to fight the establishment.
Remember yall was like. “I’m not voting. I don’t like neither candidate. It’s not like it’s going to make a difference anyway!”
Now look at you. Can’t afford food, gas, or plane tickets.
@btcjvs@dampedspring The small percentage of the daily volume means in the short term, MSTR bitcoin purchases are not that important, but in 6+ months their sequestering of the the bitcoin will be felt in a big way—supply shock, gradually, then suddenly.
In Texas, A 18-year-old girl experienced a miscarriage at around six months pregnant. She visited emergency rooms three times over about 20 hours. On her second visit, she screened positive for sepsis, but doctors discharged her because the fetus still had a heartbeat, saying she was "fine to leave." On the third visit, an OB-GYN insisted on two ultrasounds to "confirm fetal demise" before admitting her to intensive care. She died hours later from sepsis complications. Her mother later said it felt like doctors were more concerned about the fetal heartbeat than her daughter's life.
