@AgenceAXAIntl My French bank account has been with AXA for 6 years, I used your service today and was assisted by Nicole who could not have been more helpful. She is a credit to your organisation and if there is a bonus that can be given for customer service she deserves it
@edthompsn @jaymiz64 I suspect there is way more than 7 time as many pedestrians which would definitely account for that, it is not mandatory to not leave my laptop on the back seat and not lock my car people should just not steal. But why take a risk when its in my control
@MTarmohamed@Jia02809528 @DFDSUKUpdates Us too we were originally on P&O and got here early enough to get on the earlier crossing (nearly thwarted by UK Passport) no information as to when we are getting on a ferry
@POferriesupdate@UKBorder This is frankly irresponsible while people are trying to get onto earlier crossings and border force are going artificially slow
@POferriesupdate We got here early as we want to get back before the weather gets worse but utterly incompetent @UKBorder only have 4 of the 16 booths open and are taking 10 mins per car leading to ridiculous delays
@stalag13G @joel_dowell @jonas_sarjan @githii In reality it starts in schools, in the UK kids have been taught the metric system for 30 years or so. The road signs don't need to be changed we still use Miles and MPH as that is how god intended they be measured and KG for a person's weight as that is what stones are for ๐
@POferriesupdate unbelievable incompetence from the border force at Calais was asked to be here 90 mins beforehand and took over 2 hours to get past passport control, now missed ferry!!
@ThePollitt @back_badger I bought one as a temporary car intending on keeping it for a month and flipping it for what I paid for it, that was 18 months ago as I fell in love. Awesome little thing
@immaggi@paullewismoney Trouble is gawping when you should be looking where you are going is partly what causes the traffic problems (as well as being dangerous) there is a road that runs to the east of the stones that was closed a few years ago and could become a layby to stop and look
@paullewismoney They could reinstate the road the grassed over and put in a layby so you could stop and see it for free without causing traffic tailbacks - this feels like it would be a lot cheaper than a tunnel. If it is a tunnel or do nothing then tunnel it is
@paullewismoney While I can't comment on the design of the tunnel. As someone who lives not far from it, Tourists gawping at it and slowing down cause huge issues. What it really needs is to widen the existing road and build a fence
