@LumoTravel The cancellation was extreme in that there was no alternative travel for the next 3hrs and on the next trains were no seat reservations for a 5hr journey. Meaning 8hrs total. I refused travel. No compensation offered yet, rail ombusdman complaint likely.

Never travel w/ @LumoTravel. Had a train cancelled on a train strike day (3rd June) at 5.36am with less than a hours notice without any travel alterantives for the next three hours. No compensation for travel before cancelled outward journey.
