Today was even more special in receiving the award when @MarthaMamo3 received an @ASA_CSSA_SSSA Fellow award, and that my parents got to attend the ceremony being close to town 😍☺️
At today's #ACSmtg I received the ASA Early Career Award (the one I was flooded with kind messages about earlier this year). I am hugely appreciative of this recognition. I feel I need to share a bit of an acceptance speech so here goes...
I am never going to have the most grants or pubs and nor do I care to. This award is a reminder for me that we need more rewards and recognition for the multifaceted components of our work
