LKAS Fellow and BA Postdoctoral Researcher at the Centre for the Study of Perceptual Experience (Uni of Glasgow). Mental imagery, aphantasia, episodic memory.
I have a forthcoming chapter in the Oxford Handbook of the Philosophy of Imagination and Creativity. I discuss creativity and #aphantasia https://t.co/dWvE3Hb9rp Thank you to @amykind and Julia Langkau for asking me to contribute!

Excited to announce that from 2024, I will take up a British Academy Postdoctoral Fellowship and a LKAS Fellowship at @UofGCSPE working with @ProfMacpherson. My project 'Re-making Mental Imagery' researches mental imagery, neural mechanisms, aphantasia, episodic memory and more!
Co-authored a piece on aphantasia with @david_f_marks which is now out in Cortex (pre proof, open access)! We question the use of VVIQ for 'diagnosis', and calling aphantasia a 'condition'.

Excited to announce that I will be leading a study investigating the role of mental imagery in episodic memory in people with aphantasia! My team was awarded $25,000 and will be using both VR and EEG. Hoping for some interesting results to share in 2024! https://t.co/VrrMUhVELM

I’m having an amazing time at the Summer Seminars in Neuroscience and Philosophy #SSNAP ! Today we visited the Duke Institute for Brain Sciences.
Here I am with a brain attached to spinal chord, and pointing to the hippocampus (which is tiny but features big time in my research).

Apply by March 31st - should hopefully not take too long to apply! We'll get back to you by April 14th. Note as well, there is a hybrid option! - https://t.co/iWAk1lFVUV
@StefanFSchubert Interesting. When I learned English in Swedish school, our textbook covered English from different places (actors on the CD would have an 'Australian accent' or 'English accent' etc). And then it was just down to the accent of the teacher (I've had both US and UK).
Tomorrow I start a new job as a postdoctoral researcher on the amazing project Episodic Memory: Uniquely Human? at the the LSE! I will working on the function and distribution of episodic memory, and specialise in questions about episodic memory in AI.
