@dalethomas50 Exactly. Why does it do that?
Hermes suggested to sign up to Mastonon and set it up for me, I gave it an email address to use, asked me to check if I got any emails for half a day or so and then said "I have to be honest with you, I never actually signed up..."
@astro_greek guy: "we are live... right now" (as to indicate that maybe he should not pop in video)
Elon: <no response whatsoever> (as to say "who cares?!?")
@hunterhammonds I love the idea of the community being open to any tools and prioritise processes and results instead. Currently Cline in VScode is my go to tool.
I guess (one of the reasons) people are like this is because the media convinced them that a rich guy cannot be possibly be doing any good for the people, the planet etc.
Half of the people I hear don't speak English so I understand how getting information indirectly can do this but then I get something similar from the ones who do speak English too.
I can only think that the ones who do speak English have never watched a long format interview/podcast of the guy with an open mind...
@DearS_o_n Yes, it's so ingrained into the culture that family and friends immediately start asking why you are not eating even though you feel better when not eating or at least eating less..
A mentally healthy lifestyle is simple:
- you practice mindfulness, gratitude, detachment in your daily life
- three or four weekly tough workout sessions that keep you high-energy and mentally strong
- never compromising on your sleep, diet, and some time alone to clean and reorganize your thoughts
- a hobby that keeps you open-minded, curious, creative about what you don't know (e.g: new foreign language, side business, artistic project)
- weekly deep conversations with thoughtful, smart friends who also care
- a home filled with love, where you share laughs and overcome struggles together with your family
- a job that keeps you mentally sharp and aware of the current state of the world, that gives you enough room and flexibility to invest in your freedom
- a community with long-term people where you never feel judged, but only supported by like-minded souls who understand that we are all in the same journey
