24 August 1937 | A Hungarian Jewish girl, Ivonne Stern, was born.
In May 1944 she was deported to #Auschwitz and murdered in a gas chamber after the selection.
24 August 1903 | A Polish Jewish woman, Izabela Kaczmarek, was born in Bratislava. She lived in Bydgoszcz.
In August 1944 she was deported to #Auschwitz from #Litzmannstadt ghetto. She did not survive.
24 August 1941 | A Jewish boy, Harry Simon Shotland, was born in Harstad in Norway.
He was deported from Oslo to #Auschwitz on 24 February 1943 with his mother Eva. They arrived at the camp on 3 March 1943 and were murdered in a gas chamber after the selection.
25 August 1923 | A German Jewish woman, Bertha Katz, was born in Schlitz.
On 3 March 1943 she was deported from Berlin to #Auschwitz. She did not survive.
