@NationalTheatre Deeply saddened to hear this news. I had the pleasure of working with Adrian during Terry Johnson’s Hysteria and was brilliant as Salvador Dali . He was so young and I simply cannot believe he is gone. My deepest sympathies go to his family and loved ones. RIP Adrian 💔🙏 x

Totally agree. We become extremely vulnerable when pets who are like children become ill and we would do all we can to make them better and sometimes at whatever cost…. There’s the rub. The sad part is when someone cannot afford such costs - what happens to that poor animal.

Deleted the post about vets charges as some vets got upset and in my experience vets are uniformly wonderful human beings. Having said that, in a time when a lot of people are struggling, they should be able to care for their pets without anxiety, so something needs to be done.
