Speed matters immensly, and is not the default in a growing organization. Needs to be cultivated as a mindset, habit and goal. Saying «Go faster» however, does very little. You have to cut processes, enable focus and encourage small autonomous teams to deliver.
A quality I have always valued in colleagues is entrepreneurial mindset and followthrough. Identify a problem or opportunity, come up with a solution and get it done. No need for a bunch of meetings and involving more than just a few people, if any at all.
Incredible when coffee places with supposedly good coffee have the worst coffee lids. Quite telling if the goal is to save a few cents, or if the difference is not discerned. Bad lid, bad coffee!
I tell every entrepreneur I know;
Don’t fall in love with the idea, fall in love with the problem.
You’re going to dump your idea the minute you realize its flaws..
But the problem?
It’s only going to get richer, more interesting, and more nuanced the more you learn about it.
Google Search not linking to Google Maps in Europe is ridiculous. This added friction impacts both consumers and businesses negatively. The linking should be restored. Regulation should be sensible, not sensational.
