@NeilMackay@heraldscotland It is dire - and we have been saying this for a long time. Here’s an AI analysis that I asked for. Morning folks. Please take a look at this letter, which includes my signature on behalf of @ErskineCharity , to @RachelReevesMP. I bet lots of you didn’t know that charities, delivering public sector care contracts, are already operating in the red. New #NIc could break us ❤️🩹
A huge congratulations to Tracey McKechnie, Susan Patton, Michael Baldi and Caroline McFee for your hard work over the years. We couldn't do what we do without you! Queen's Nursing Institute Scotland

Proud to be a #queensnurse & a career #carehomenurse - 22yrs! Always a strong advocate for personhood, for ensuring all residents in care homes are seen & respected. My poster this evening, illustrated the importance of #namaste care for those living with advanced dementia.
#carehome#queensnurses discussed the need to ensure our voices, nurses working directly in social care, are heard in all decisions on policy & practice concerning care homes.

This evening I attended the @QNI_Scotland reception in @ScotParl, to celebrate the achievements of Queen’s Nurses from across Scotland.
It was lovely to meet @andreawyllie from Greenock Medical Aid Society and Kirsty Carten @Justacarehomeg1 from Rashielea Care Home in Erskine.
So much to think about after #SCNursing24 ,finally back home & fuelling my further thinking with a takeaway! Thanks to all @scottishcare for a great day discussing future care planning, assisted dying, AWI, staff development, the value of #socialcarenurses and much more!
Donald thanks all who have helped to make today's Social Care Nursing Conference a success, including all delegates, partners and speakers. When we champion social care nursing, we champion nursing 💙 #SCNursing24
@DrDMacaskill delivers a summary of what's been a fascinating day, emphasising the distinctive role of social care nursing. Relational. Emotional. Community. Innovation. We need to be clear about what we bring. We meet people where they are #SCNursing24
