Steve Jobs said vertical touchscreens make your arm want to fall off after a while.
Apple just put one on the MacBook Pro.
But what if the trackpad could do more?
Imagine a Final Cut timeline or Blender controls right under your fingers, changing based on the app you’re using.
Keep the keyboard physical. Make the trackpad a contextual surface with haptic feedback.
Would you rather have that than a touchscreen?
chuck, honestly, i love your videos for this very reason. It’s rare to find content that’s both useful and entertaining in the way you present it. “words are, in my not-so-humble opinion, our most inexhaustible source of magic. capable of both inflicting injury, and remedying it.”. love from italy ❤️
@616Punk@keremcesme not everyone likes the stock app, me included. its like using a different client mail, if u like gmail go with it, for a more advanced user go with superhuman or other alternatives. same concept.
@AinosEnigram@EKokele@melvindvivas i use hermes primarely for the facts that i can use anth models and selfhost it. for prices i think hermes is a lil better cause you can optimize the token usage. convenience depends on who u are, i have an agent that via checkmk checks the other agents stats and ask me for a fix
