I'm trying to figure out where between "he forgot me long before he dismissed me, but I too had learnt from him" and "Louis de Pointe du Lac, already described above but always fan to envisage" the TVL writers decided Armand would've scorned Louis after their parting.

Maybe I'm just a hater, but I don't like when the DM "I love you" "Are you certain?" is taken out of its context. That wasn't Armand's general insecurity. That was Armand just after turning Daniel, knowing he didn't yet but was about to understand what Armand had cursed him to.

@amadeogroomer or. armand wanting to pretend he’s amadeo again. but every time he brings it up, louis tells him, no, i’m not going to playact as your groomer, and armand insists it was love, you don’t understand, he was so good to me. and eventually armand stops talking abt marius altogether :(

@loumadeo The s2 setup could've been so good. It would've been genuinely interesting to see DM almost inversed to suit the show. Hate rather than love being the factor conflicting with Armand's morals about turning. Dare I say, even the stalking could've been made to be out of bitterness.
