Feel like in sim racing a lot of people just try to copy the fast drivers, whereas the correct process should be from first principles

Where am I not using all of the track?

Where could I cut more without a penalty or destabilizing the car?

Am I braking effectively? Could I rotate more?

How do I pick the line given the particular corner sequence?

Working on this thought process allows you to be autonomous, and gives you the chance of being the fastest of all, whereas by copying you will probably be a slower version of the driver you try to emulate

The only "trad" concept I fully respect is the "man of the world" archetype. In old literature, a remarkable man was interested in the arts, music, dance, writing, fashion, physicality, speaking, flirting, etc. Having a broad palate for life. A taste for and love of many things.
