New from the @AppliedInt research team: TerraZero. Built by people a lot smarter than me :)

It lets us train driving policies entirely from scratch with zero human demonstrations using self-play.

It's #1 on InterPlan long-tail planning, matches the realism of demonstration-trained sim agents on @Waymo's benchmark (without human driving behavior), and is pretty performant (2.8M sim steps/sec on 8 GPUs) which is needed for large-scale RL.
