@sainsburys Ooh Aisha, these sandwiches do look like they have some proper stuffing in them, but I don’t know if you’ve really convinced me that Sainsbury’s is where I should go for lunch. @GreggsOfficial any better offers?
@sainsburys I haven't had a look yet tbh. Does Sainsbury's take pride in their Xmas sandwiches or will you also scapegoat the 'supplier' and recommend that I make my own like Alison @Tesco did? I know I'm a bit early but I thought #christmassandwiches were a national institution!
@Tesco Hollah @sainsburys I’m gonna be getting my Christmas sandwich from you tomorrow morning- should I expect to have to make my own sandwich then as well?
@Tesco Yeah, cheers for the great advice. Probably won’t be buying my Christmas dinner from Tescos though, you might try and tell me to go rear my own turkeys next!
@Tesco Hi Alison, I’m now eating the sandwhich and I just want to say that it tastes worse than it looks. The stuffing sauce is definitely not a stuffing sauce. It is more like a weird flavoured mayonaisse. I’m not sure who created this but they need an intensive christmas course.
@Tesco I know I’m to blame Alison, because I saw the goods beforehand and I chose to buy it, but can you blame me for wanting a little Christmas cheer on a horrible Tuesday morning?
@Tesco I’m not sure if the suppliers are to blame really. I just think it’s an all round poor effort. There’s no attempt at a pigs in blanket (which I’ve seen Sainsbury’s supplying) and as previously stated the stuffing is not stuffing, it is some kind of sauce.
