The rule of law and the rule of justice both matter. I stand with the brave on cutting-edge important cases: Internet, IP, freedoms of expression & association.
@MaybellRomero@brianlfrye Indeed -- in my youth it required transfers in Fano and Pesaro, IIRC, so that puts a number of persons off. (Not me, and I hope not you!). FWIW Rick Steves's 1250-page Italy guidebook manages to omit Ravenna and Bologna (and all of Sicily) among other things. SMH.
@Onejen @ae_stallings Before signing a work-made-for-hire agreement or a license to the publisher, include a provision that the agreement or license shall be "void ab initio" if full pay't isn't received by the publ'n date, and (in the US) register the copyright immediately on default.

@Smithkev007 I would need to know a lot more, and to see the comments. I wonder: did any law firms drop job offers to persons who agreed with Jerry Falwell's statement that liberals, feminists, abortionists, and the ACLU were responsible for the airborne murders of 2001?
@tjccich @CNN@Delta Good to know. FYI I expect that Delta is reconsidering its announcement only because Amex knows that Delta's change will cause many persons to drop their DL-branded AX cards. Companies respond to pressure from their partners far more than to pressure from their customers.
