Fawning season takes place in @phoenixparkOPW in June/July. If you find a fawn, do not touch it or attempt to move it. Fawns are often left hidden in long grass by their mothers, which return every few hours to allow the fawn to suckle (drink milk). @UCD_Wildlife@lauraelgriffin

Unfortunately one of the mothers did not survive the fawning season due to a breech birth. An unfortunate part of working with wild animals is that there is nothing we could do for her.
