@AlDev0 Yeah, SEO definitely takes time. Pinterest is still pretty slow for me β getting some impressions, but very few outbound clicks so far. I'll keep testing different pins and see what works.
Building an app is one thing. Getting people to discover it is another π
Today's progress on Make Resume:
Updated an SEO article
Published 2 Pinterest pins
Posted on Instagram
Still figuring out what actually brings users.
Small steps, testing ET.

@malakhovdm That's a really good point. Right now the app focuses on building resumes, but I'm actually considering PDF import and editing existing resumes. Your comment makes me think this should be a priority.
Small ASO win for my iOS app π±
Make Resume is now ranking:
#5 for "make a resume"
#8 for "edit resume"
But rankings don't automatically mean revenue.
Still working on conversion, onboarding and organic growth.
Anyone else seeing this gap?

Small update on my indie app journey π
Today I improved the onboarding flow in Make Resume, updated App Store screenshots, and worked on organic.
Pinterest is slowly picking up β 1.1K impressions in the last 30 days.
Still small numbers, but progress is progress.

One thing Iβm learning from building apps:
Shipping the product is only the beginning.
Then comes SEO, content, analytics, distribution, pricing, localization...
Building is probably the easiest part π
Building mobile apps taught me one thing:
Coding is the easy part.
The hard part:
β what NOT to build
β getting users
β understanding what they actually do
β figuring out why they donβt pay
Coding is only part of building an app.
Most people add too many skills to their resume.
Better approach:
β Start with the job description
β Pick skills you actually have
β Prioritize relevant ones
β Show them in your experience
50+ examples π

Small lesson from building an iOS app:
Getting installs is only half the problem.
If users reach the paywall but don't buy, more traffic won't fix it.
So I'm spending less time chasing installs and more time improving the path from first open β value β purchase.
Small steps.
@ghoulimpact Bringing it in probably wonβt hurt, but Iβd also take another look at the resume before reapplying. Sometimes a small change in how your experience matches the role can make more difference than applying again with the same version.
@WillHavePeace@ElSpazador@EBTtok Iβd add one more: donβt use exactly the same resume for 100 applications. Even small changes to match the role can make a big difference.
Most resumes donβt need more skills.
They need more relevant skills.
Instead of listing everything you can do:
β read the job description
β identify the skills that actually matter
β keep the ones you can genuinely demonstrate
Relevance beats quantity.
Small SEO win today.
My resume site is only a few days old, but Google is already showing it β 126 impressions.
0 clicks π
βResume skillsβ queries started appearing, so today I built a dedicated page for them.
Now we wait and see what Google does.
@imarwant Getting the first 1-star before the first subscriber hurts π At least they left enough context to figure out what went wrong. Probably more useful than a silent uninstall.
@NicobeDevFr 1 purchase from 12 downloads after 5 days actually looks promising. Iβd be more curious about the drop from 612 page views to 12 downloads. Maybe screenshots or the first impression of the App Store page is the next thing to test.
@adiroth_builds Congrats on the launch π Getting something real into the App Store is a big milestone. Are you planning to build the next features based mostly on user feedback, or do you already have a roadmap in mind?
@franc1skim Congrats on the launch! Iβm building mobile apps too, so I know shipping is only half the battle π What are you planning to focus on first β getting users or improving the product based on early feedback?
