Today in Helsinki, I had a meaningful meeting with Finland’s Minister of Defense,
@anttihakkanen.

Finland continues to provide systematic support to Ukraine and has announced a new military aid package worth €200 million. This is the 28th aid package, strengthening our defense capabilities and enhancing the effectiveness of Ukraine’s Defense Forces.

Additionally, the Finnish government has launched a €660 million program. Under this initiative, military equipment will be purchased directly from the Finnish defense industry and supplied to Ukraine.

Another important step is the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on defense cooperation. The document outlines key areas of our joint efforts.

Finland is a reliable partner making a significant contribution to the security of not only Ukraine but all of Europe. I am grateful to the Finnish government and people, as well as my colleague Antti Häkkänen, for their strategic vision and support. 🇺🇦🇫🇮

Last summer, the warriors of the 14th UAS regiment destroyed the кussian "Niobium-SV" radar system. This modern airspace control system, worth $100 million, is allegedly capable of tracking up to 300 targets simultaneously.
