Earlier today, a report was posted saying askr sells old fake AI models. It got some attention, so here is the full answer.

Firstly, thank you. We took the report, tested every one of our 383 models harder, across 6 different audits and published everything, the good and the bad.

What the report saw was real. We were not telling the models today's date. Without it, a model assumes it is still the day its training ended and says last year's news "has not happened". Tell it the date and the same model answers. Every chat on askr now starts with the date.

One thing the report really did get right:

Cursor is a better coding agent than askr.. of course it is.

But we're not building that.

Currently out out of every 100 AI users:

- 82 are consumers.
- 16 are enterprise users.
- 2 are developers.

We build for the majority.

We are not providers of AI.

We are not an inference capital market.

We are providers of new experience with AI.
