HDFC SmartBuy goof-up makes customers suffer: I was trying to make two flight booking yesterday on HDFC SmartBuy. Both the bookings failed after payment as HDFC SmartBuy partner (Yatra) did not confirm the booking. But my entire point balance and the amount were deducted for both the flights.
Now HDFC Concierge is saying that it would take 7-10 days to get refund of the reward points.

7 days are too much. My flight’s price has already increased since yesterday. I will be able to use the points after 10 days as per them, but what if the flight price would escalate (which I am sure it will happen).

Ultimately, its customers like me who would bear the loss without any fault. For failed bookings, reward points must be refunded immediately.

This is very unfair @HDFC_Bank @HDFCBank_Cares 👎👎👎👎 😡🤬😡
