After two female officers left Henry Nowak to die...
Is this DEI gone wrong or were these officers below selected for their skill, temperament and bravery?
Because this is embarrassing beyond belief.
UK policing has a crisis on its hands.
At a time when Prime Minister Starmer is talking about division and hate, it’s worth remembering that bringing the extremist Alaa Abd el-Fattah into the UK was one of Starmer’s self-professed ‘top priorities’ as PM. https://t.co/0aCaaY4Gb9
🚨Your pension is about to be raided and HMRC just confirmed how....
From April 2027, pension schemes will be allowed to withhold up to half of your retirement savings to cover inheritance tax. They can hold onto that money for up to 15 months while they work out what is owed
Pensions used to sit outside inheritance tax entirely. From April 2027 they get hit with the standard 40% rate like everything else
So your family loses up to 40% of what you spent a lifetime saving. The pension company sits on the other half for over a year before anyone sees a penny. Funeral costs, mortgage payments, school fees, none of it can be covered while the money is locked up
The policy was announced by Rachel Reeves in the 2024 Budget. The operational detail confirming the 50% withholding rule was quietly published by HMRC this week, with final guidance not due until spring 2027, weeks before the deadline
10,500 estates will be dragged into inheritance tax for the first time. Another 38,500 will pay more. Average extra bill, £34,000
And this is how these things always work. The threshold starts high, the public is told it only affects the wealthy, and the numbers stay frozen while everything else rises
The inheritance tax threshold has been stuck at £325,000 since 2009. House prices have nearly doubled in that time
Every year, more ordinary families get pulled in without a single rule changing
The government calls this closing a loophole. What it actually does is treat your pension like another revenue stream for the Treasury. Money you saved out of taxed income gets taxed again on the way out
If you have a pension, this affects you. Check what your scheme is planning before April 2027 arrives

@Chuck17089@TRobinsonNewEra Religion is perfect, people aren’t??!! Are you out of your fucking mind? You realise all religions are man-made, which makes your statement a non sequitur lol
This is blatant corruption of the highest order and an incredible misallocation of public funds.
The daughter-in-law of Tony Blair has just been handed £500 million of taxpayers money to invest in AI companies.
Beyond the nepotism there is a more fundamental problem. Government, especially this one, has no business allocating capital.
When bureaucrats direct investment they do so without price signals, incentives or skin in the game.
They cannot know which companies deserve capital because only the market can reveal that through competition, profit and loss.
What they can do is reward proximity to power. You just know this capital will be funnelled into the pockets of their friends and associates.
The private sector allocates capital efficiently because bad decisions have consequences. There are no consequences when Government allocates capital inefficiently.
Britain does not have a shortage of AI investment. It has a shortage of the conditions that make private investment attractive.
Anyone remember the billions lost with the covid app and the PPE contracts handed to friends of ministers?
Or the massive waste with HS2?
Big government is just a scheme to transfer wealth from the taxpayer to those in power.
It's a big club and you aren't in it.
This should be a national scandal.
Shabana Mahmood won’t deport the child rapist she campaigned to keep here.
After four months the Home Secretary has finally written to me with her explanation as to the whereabouts of twice convicted child rapist Fabian Henry, a Jamaican national she helped to save from deportation in 2020.
After nine chase emails and a written question she has now stated that she cannot comment.
The Home Secretary is obligated to deport Fabian Henry under Section 32 of the UK Borders Act 2007.
So why hasn’t she?
Gill, it's one of the most important questions anyone can ask and it deserves a serious answer.
Antisemitism is the oldest and most persistent form of hatred in human history. It predates Christianity, predates Islam and has survived every political system that has ever existed. The reason it persists is that it is uniquely adaptable. In medieval Europe Jews were blamed for poisoning wells and killing Christian children. In the nineteenth century they were accused of controlling global finance. In the twentieth century Nazi propaganda cast them as a racial poison undermining the German nation. Today the accusation is that Zionism, Jewish self determination, is the greatest threat to humanity. The specific charge changes. The targeting of Jews as the source of the world's problems does not.
What makes it so persistent is that it provides a simple explanation for complex problems. Economic anxiety, political instability, cultural change, military conflict, all of it can be attributed to a single identifiable group. The conspiracy theory is self sealing. Evidence against it is dismissed as proof of how powerful and deceptive the conspiracy is. Evidence for it is amplified. It is psychologically satisfying in a way that accurate and complicated explanations rarely are.
In Britain in 2026 the specific driver is a combination of Iranian state sponsored hatred, Islamist ideology that identifies Jews and Israel as existential enemies, and a progressive political culture that has spent two and a half years making the dehumanisation of Zionists socially acceptable on campuses, in political parties and on the streets of London. Slogan becomes atmosphere. Atmosphere becomes permission. Permission becomes a 45 year old man walking to the most identifiably Jewish neighbourhood in Britain with a knife.
The elderly gentleman was not stabbed for no reason. He was stabbed because he was Jewish. That is the reason. And it is the reason that has driven this hatred for two thousand years.
X has issued a strike against my post for sharing historical and recent UK school photographs illustrating rapid demographic change, with the caption “The Great Replacement is REAL”.
The facts are straightforward and come from official government sources:
•Department for Education (DfE) Schools, Pupils and their Characteristics 2024/25 data: 38% of pupils in England are from minority ethnic backgrounds (i.e. not White British). White British pupils are now only around 62% nationally — and far lower in many cities.
•White British children are a minority in ~1 in 4 schools. In 72 schools, zero White British pupils are recorded. In another 454 schools, they make up less than 2%.
•2021 Census (ONS): White British people are 74.4% of the population in England and Wales, a significant decline especially among younger age groups.
These are verifiable public statistics reflecting decades of net immigration, differential birth rates, and policy decisions.
Even though this is factually true, X still issued a DSA/OSA strike. Platforms over-censor factual content like this because they face massive fines (up to 10% of global revenue) from regulators if they allow material that could be interpreted as stirring racial tension or “harmful” under vague rules. Risk-averse moderation means truth alone is not enough if it touches sensitive demographic topics, it often gets flagged regardless of accuracy or lack of incitement.
My post contained no calls for violence, no hatred, no discrimination just visual evidence and acknowledgment of demographic reality. Yet it was struck.
This is the core issue: When platforms remove or limit factual discussion of official government data about our own country’s future, it is not “keeping people safe.” It is suppressing legitimate public debate on immigration, integration, cultural change, and policy consequences.
Free speech isn’t just for uncontroversial opinions. If we cannot talk openly about verifiable demographic shifts that affect housing, schools, identity, and social cohesion, then democracy itself is undermined.
The Online Safety Act (and DSA for EU-influenced enforcement) was sold as protecting against real harm, but in practice it creates a chilling effect on uncomfortable truths. Platforms air on the side of caution to avoid Ofcom fines.
I’ve appealed multiple times. The strike remains.
@x@Support@elonmusk can you review this? Factual discussion of government statistics should not be a violation.

Rape Gang Inquiry update.
Our team is currently going through our draft report to ensure that all is legally sound for publication.
The plan is straightforward.
I intend to use parliamentary privilege in the chamber to name a number of the worst perpetrators/officials who we believe have escaped justice.
We will then use private prosecutions to pursue those individuals through the courts, and eventually put them in prison.
These are incredibly dangerous scumbags. It is an national network of organised crime - it is not simply disparate gangs. This is a comprehensive criminal network that is capable of the most evil acts.
I will be informing the police, parliamentary security and the Home Office beforehand of who I intend to name and why - I also now have private security for the first time in my life.
But do not underestimate the danger of these networks. It is organised crime of the very worst kind.
We started this inquiry not to just talk, but to act.
The report will be published after the elections as I want this to be a cross-party effort, and party politics should not interfere with any of our activity.
Numerous Conservative MPs have been supportive, as have the Northern Irish and even a Labour MP attending the hearings. I want this to go beyond petty party politics.
We still have a significant amount of money from the crowdfunder, and that is ready to privately prosecute.
This is where we are. This is the plan.
Thank you to everybody for your support.
They Were Here Because the State Put Them Here.
On Thursday, three failed asylum seekers were convicted of gang rape at Hove Crown Court. Abdulla Ahmadi, an Iranian, and two Egyptians, Karin Al-Danasurt and Ibrahim Alshafe, had arrived in Britain on small boats, been housed in a Home Office-approved hotel in Horsham, and spent an October night hunting a lone woman on Brighton beach. The prosecutor told the court they did not see their victim as a human being. They saw meat. They laughed while they raped her. They filmed it. Then they went back to the hotel and had a barbecue.
Al-Danasurt was a convicted murderer in Egypt who had fled specifically to avoid a lengthy prison sentence. He was granted asylum accommodation by the British state. On the same day as the conviction, Shabana Mahmood was in Dunkirk signing a £662 million deal with the French and calling it a landmark.
The detention centre at the heart of that deal holds 140 people. Forty-one thousand crossed the Channel last year. The arithmetic is not complicated. This is not a solution. It is a gesture with a budget and a camera crew.
And yet even that framing is too generous. Because if Britain, or France, truly wanted to stop the boats, they could. France accepts British money to intercept when it suits, which proves cooperation is purchasable. Australia stopped its boats entirely using turn-backs and offshore processing. Britain has the navy, the coastguard and the surveillance capability to do the same. What it lacks is the will. And the 2039 accommodation contracts, worth an estimated £10 billion, are the proof. You do not sign thirteen-year housing contracts for a problem you intend to solve. You sign them for a situation you have decided to manage permanently while telling the public something different.
That gap between the rhetoric and the reality is not accidental. It is the product of a progressive political culture that has made certain conclusions unreachable regardless of the evidence. Liverpool Council publishes official guidance telling residents there is no link between asylum seeker populations and violence against women, and commits public money to correcting anyone who says otherwise. The Equality and Human Rights Commission warns that describing migration as a risk is itself suspect. The legal industry turns every removal into a decade-long obstacle course. The NGO sector cites appeal success rates as proof of injustice rather than proof of a system designed to exhaust the state into surrender. None of this requires coordination. It requires only shared assumptions: that naming cultural risk is racism, that enforcement is cruelty, and that public concern is ignorance to be managed.
The Brighton conviction did not emerge from nowhere. It emerged from a system that brings in large numbers of unknown men from countries where women are treated as property, houses them in unsupervised hotels and dispersal accommodation in ordinary communities, near schools, parks and playgrounds, where they are free to come and go as they please, fails to remove them when their claims are rejected, and then instructs the public not to draw connections. One of Thursday's convicted rapists had a murder conviction in another country. He was here anyway. He was housed here anyway. And the government's response, on the day of his conviction, was a photo opportunity on a French beach.
There is a test that cuts through all of it. If forty thousand armed men crossed the Channel each year, the navy would be deployed and the boats would be stopped. The fact that they are not is a political choice. British women are paying for that choice. The Brighton victim paid for it on a beach in October.
She will pay for it for the rest of her life.
