@truemagic68@JessicaToale Thanks David. Here’s one last tip . If you want to live a long quality life don’t spend too much time on “X” It’s a bit of a cess pit . Btw …I enjoyed your appearances on Wake Up to Money in the old days . Goodnight , best wishes.
@truemagic68@JessicaToale No I didn’t know how it would pan out but I did think at the time that they were spending too much. Just a financial tip to you and Rishi , when you borrow money it has to be paid back and there’s a charge called “interest” on the money too .
@truemagic68@JessicaToale I think the problem is that under the Conservatives the national debt sky rocketed and now interest on that debt is crippling. During COVID they wasted money like confetti on dubious contracts and eat out to help out etc.Reeves budget was a brake on growth but Tories were crap
@piersmorgan She had to resign as she stupidly did not seek expert tax advice. But the report is sympathetic and notes that she acted in good faith. The third home ( grace and favour flat) is a red herring ; admittedly a nice red herring . Yes her position was untenable .
@Newtons_Laws Where does it say in the report that the advice was wrong ? The whole point, from my reading of the report is that she did not seek specialist advice at the time of conveyancing. She acted in good faith but should have sought expert tax advice .
Neil Young at Glastonbury started off a little underwhelming and it looked like it was going to be a difficult gig but he got stronger with every song . A no bullshit 79 year old who can still deliver.
