Heavily inspired by #vue — its simplicity and developer-first philosophy shaped a lot of this.
Not perfect, but real. Would love your thoughts ❤️
Before module federation existed, there was a similar solution that was compile time. Youd pass a json reference map from other builds to the current build at compile time and it would create externals. usually you would have a dedicated vendor build, then take the json and feed it to your other builds, then those builds would make those dependencies externals and search for them on the window etc.
Some legacy users of webpack still depend on this old solution.
I have not heard of anyone using this since module federation was created, but many companies built custom dependency loading solutions around DLL plugin and have not been able to use rspack due to us not supporting the old DLL solution from ~10 years ago
@AzureSupport We are having lots of issues connecting to our databases in EUW and lots of our tenants is down now. Why isn't Azure Status showing anything?

Meetings are a bug. Today, we shipped a fix to this bug at @Shopify.
To start 2023, we're cancelling all Shopify meetings with more than two people. Let's give people back their maker time. Companies are for builders. Not managers.
