@patrickcarr_@KadenNielson4 The only way it gains momentum is if the larger classifications (4,5,6) are affected, which currently they are not. Otherwise it falls on deaf ears.
@Y_Soup@joncox435 “Cheap” is relative. You take a family of five to a game and you are $30+ to get in. Take in a couple games a week and that adds up. Throw in consessions and you are $100 a week to go to a high school game to watch your own kid play. 🤷♂️
@RuralUtahSports Also, my guess is that the ones that said no due to baseball are the only ones that would have a chance to succeed. Likely Panguitch, Piute, Wayne…
@RuralUtahSports Being “interested” and actually fielding a team, are two VERY different things. My guess is most are very small schools that would never be able to compete.
@Yo_Geertz@JamesEdward_HS Preseason schedules (wins/losses) will make or break teams. There is no benefit to play a tough preseason schedule with the RPI, in fact it hurts you if you lose those games. Also, playing in a weaker region will always hurt your RPI as well.
@McCadeP8 Biggest complaint is there is no preference for region champs. Almost makes region play irrelevant. Plus, preseason will make or break your RPI.
