@ENortonHistory@britishmuseum Looks like the last time @britishmuseum replied to any msg on here was back in June 2024. Another institution very happy to send but not receive it seems.
@omgsidewalks Try typing in "add" or "remove" to see the settings option called (quote) "add/remove programs". You won't, you only see it if you type "uninstall"..
The Speaker of the House, Lindsay Hoyle, has had to intervene and force the government to issue a statement on the murder of Henry Nowak.
This is utterly unprecedented. Shame on the Labour government, especially the Prime Minister and Home secretary, shame on you.
Astonishing.
@NetworkRailBHM@HS2ltd@WestMidRailway@TransportForWM Great isn't it. Millions of public money get wasted on (will it ever be delivered?) HS2, meanwhile actual trains replaced by buses. Also, the stations on this line have barely any benches and "waiting rooms" that are hardly ever open, plus permanently closed toilets...
@PeteUK7@virginmedia Funny how @virginmedia haven't replied to this one @PeteUK7. They don't have an adequate answer is why, and your case proves their response was typical corporate bullsquirt.
@ledbysofties@MichaelRosenYes You covered most things. Just forgot about needing to fund their DB pensions that have long since been unaffordable elsewhere. (Same issue in all the local Councils too)
🚨NEW: Betting activity on the Makerfield by-election since markets opened shows the following shares:
- Restore Britain: 51%
- Labour: 23%
- Reform: 23%
- Green: 2%
- Conservatives: 1%
@MarieTidball Total tosh. Waiting list stats are MEANINGLESS. Let's see the stats on number of consultations/treatments/operations instead. You know, actual achievement, not how long the flippin queue is
@CarolineLucas@PeterStefanovi2 Excuse me, but all MPs should ALWAYS put country before party. Every. Single. Time. You are merely representatives of your constituents, and don't any of you miserable MPs forget it.
@2147mill You need to offset the renting option with the costs of renting. You still need to pay monthly rent (versus interest) and also have contents insurance. Plus of course you don't have the 300K from day 1 to invest. Needs more maths...
@AlanJLSmith Thankfully Keir Starmer has his very own law passed to protect him from this nasty tax. Which made it all the easier to sign off I'm sure.
@alexbakerman I see what looked like a very smart guy, that I thought had a good moral code, but only a short time into the job (in the grand scheme) he showed he was just as bad as the conservative leaders he bemoaned and then doubled down to be worse than them.
@DrDanAndrews@KayBurley I don't think he could ever deliver a speech though - he looks boring and then he doubles down on that when he opens his mouth. Even the words of Shakespeare would wither. Whereas Jonathan Pie can rant with utter passion!
@campbellclaret Interesting that there is only mention of it being "worse for labour" - like the country can go screw? Because it's always and only EVER about the party isn't it. Shame on you
@JohnSlinger Congratulations John. You've just clearly identified yourself as part of the problem - and most definitely NOT the solution. You lot have got to stop all this "love the leader" crap, utter communist rubbish
