Hey @MattieTK, there’s a good segment on The Talk Show where @gruber laments being able to watch multiple sports games concurrently. Thought VidGrid might be a good solution.
@danielpunkass I don’t think The Beard episode following what was arguably one of the best TV moments ever (Tartt/George Harrison) in the last episode helped. Expectations were high.
@danielpunkass@hisaac This is really cool. I’m using Xcode as purely as a text editor for writing SwiftUI. I’ve only recently started using the Commit/Push functionality instead of the terminal. There must be so much I’m missing out on. I’ve no idea where to start.
@ianbetteridge A separation of the executive functions of government from the legislative functions would allow those more qualified to lead government departments. Imagine having someone who actually understands healthcare running the DHSC!
@ianbetteridge As much as I dislike the current govt, I completely agree with this. The talent pool for the most senior civil servants is limited to those whose only qualification is winning a local popularity contest, often as a proxy for a popular party, rather than individual merit. /
@elleduncanESPN 1) The Blues Brothers
2) Goldfinger
3) Star Wars
4) The Wizard of Oz
5) Bachelor Party
I’m not even counting the kids movies that seem to be on perpetually in my house.
@drwave I wouldn’t (normally) purposefully choose a movie that I’ve seen a lot of times but if it’s on TV, I could sit and rewatch what I consider my “comfort” movies. In that way, there are definitely a bunch of movies I’ve seen more 10 times.
