Holiday in Sorrento for our Pearl Wedding anniversary and @TUIUK think this was not worthy of relocation. I had to pay for an alternative hotel that was quiet and the shower worked and wasn’t disgusting. Next holiday won’t be with them
@StanCollymore Entertaining match. DRG were excellent the keeper was MotM. England played okay and winning when not at your best is a good thing. One game at a time. African teams are improving at every WC, it won’t be long before we have an African champion
@robbyyy@Spurs_fl@AlasdairGold I wonder how social media would have judged signing Gary Mabbutt from Bristol Rovers. Let the manager decide. Romero has been a liability at times with stupid bookings and red cards
@GeoffreyBoycott I seem to remember that in the winning Ashes series in Australia ’70 Knotty entered the Guinness Book of Records for not conceding a single bye in any test match. We need a proper wicket keeper again
@stephenpollard I don’t know if he’s the right man for the job, but I do know that the team have produced insipid performances like that under a raft of different managers or coaches over the last 20 years.
@gceccles@ChimeWhistle@AsleF They don’t help, but rosters and turn lengths need a proper study. I also have a pet hate regarding maximum length of turns starting before an AM book on causing a loading of hours into the late turns. People get tired whatever the time of day is around the roster
@legsidelizzy The lesson here is if you’re going to spend a fortune on flights hotels and test match tickets make sure you don’t buy tickets for day 3 onwards. Save your money for a boat trip to The Barrier Reef or a few days at Uluru because there’ll be no cricket to watch
@englandcricket Fortunately a trip to Australia from the UK is cheap and easy to do. England seem to have the ability to fit in a whole test match that lasts the whole flight
