I am excited and honored to join the board of @OlatecThera, a biotechnology company with lead compound dapansutrile, an oral therapeutic that inhibits NLRP3. Dapansutrile is positioned to become a breakthrough treatment with early human data showing its potential to safely modulate the body’s immune system by targeting chronic detrimental inflammation allowing for the restoration of immune balance, a necessary step to treat or prevent the progression of many of the diseases of aging.
Andy Cunningham (@get2aha) has joined the @Olatec Board. Her expertise in strategic communication and branding will expand awareness of our clinical pipeline and strengthen our role as a leader in the emerging NLRP3i class https://t.co/U84txHTIVm

Richard Blanco’s new book of poetry explores what it means to be home and to belong. The timing couldn’t be more perfect. His savory and well-chosen words offer inspiration to so many who have been displaced from their homelands in these difficult times. https://t.co/zsueoEbJG1
I am honored to be the first guest on the new and amazing podcast “Market Mojo” hosted by Paul Johns, marketing and sales expert and wizard at connecting the two. We’re talking about how storytelling affects revenue (hint: a lot!) and how companies can get better at it. Your product isn’t the most important thing. It’s your narrative that will engage the hearts and minds of your customers. #Marketing #Sales #storytelling #positioning #leadership

Positioning is the epicenter of great marketing and great marketing is the epicenter of great business. But getting to the aha! position is only half the battle. The other half is all about consistency and frequency with that position. The next book will focus on activating Aha! and hacking the human condition to succeed. Here’s a hint: inspire your messengers to believe they matter.

“Rosalind Franklin was a British chemist and X-ray crystallographer whose work was central to the understanding of the molecular structures of DNA, RNA, viruses, coal, and graphite.”
In fact, her male colleagues incorporated her discoveries, including that of the double helix, and were awarded a Nobel Prize for the research. This was not uncommon in her day.
While the Rosalind Franklin story is certainly an amazing one, it’s critical for our young sisters to find the lost women of science and see them as the role models they are.
I am proud to be on the board of Lost Women of Science to bring to light the females who have contributed to innovation ever since innovation was a thing.
