Some of us aren’t wired to do nothing. We need to build, create, or solve something to feel good.
That’s why billionaires like Elon Musk and Bill Gates keep working. And why nobody ever really quits CT even though they’ve reached their «retirement number» a long time ago.
You think you want to retire. What you actually want is the freedom to work on things you care about.
assuming you're not a fat fuck. in the next 2.5 weeks. split your workout right now like this.
do some 3-4 BIG running workout like 45-60 min of something like this.
ex: 2 min easy, 2 min medium pace, 2 min hard. Do it till you hit 45-60 min. Miles don't matter for this situation. Time on your feet does.
Untill you have like a week left untill the race. that's when you taper, which mean just still doing daily runs, but less intense, nothing should be a big workout week before.
What you doing here is supposed to push your body to feel the intensity of the big run so your body don't go into shock during race day. cus it could potentially injure you.
