Today, members of the Anglican Communion Office gathered with community friends and partners, at St Andrew’s House, London, for a St Andrew’s Day Service of Thanksgiving.

The service, led by the Secretary General, the Right Reverend Anthony Poggo, included a sermon by the Most Reverend Ian Ernest, which reflected on the life of St Andrew the Apostle.

Together, we gave thanks for the ministry of the Anglican Communion and the deep connections that sustain our global Anglican family.

I have signed this letter to the Telegraph with over 1000 clergy. Our country should be putting more resources into palliative care rather than having the state involved in allowing/encouraging the death of its citizens. NHS money should be used to help people, not kill them.
