@footballconfid1@thetimes Can’t read due to paywall - but my guess is this is about losing free child care hours when a single earner crosses the £100k threshold.
@Argos_Online This product has a 10% promo code published with it, but on checkout it says the product is not eligible for that deal. https://t.co/yQmKk21c4z
Should the code be valid? If not, why is it promoted on the product page? :/ Thanks!
@virginmedia Hi John - yes, I did. I did a factory reset of the hub (as advised by chat), which put it in router mode, plugged a cable in and get 540ish down but still only 36 up.
@virginmedia Hi - still seeing this and have time to debug now. Tried to get to a support chat on the website but the button does not work. Any recommendations for what to try next?
@virginmedia Not easily. The hub is in modem mode, and I don't want to go crawling round the cupboard. :)
https://t.co/ZoQJIWBVOd from my laptop (10Gb/s wired to router) showing bang on 36Mb/s up. But honestly, don't worry - it will come when it comes. I'll reboot hub again next week. :)
@ZachInglis Some concerns about the reliance on cloud, and the inability to extend the proprietary local network beyond a single central hub. But those things haven’t been problems yet for me.
@ZachInglis Got Tado a few months ago, to control kids bedrooms with different nap/bed times individually. Works well - good app, HomeKit support. Not handsome like a Nest, but I rarely look at the thermostat.
