@IanRoertson@LizWebsterSBF@Katie_Lam_MP@AngelaRayner That's simply not true. Since this 10 year old limited study was published there has been a clear trail of Russian money flooding the UK in the up run to brexit. Former politicians are in jail for taking Russian money, more extensive algorithmic studies showed Russian involvement
@IanRoertson@LizWebsterSBF@Katie_Lam_MP@AngelaRayner This is from a study that analysis less that 3,000 known Russian accounts and only looked at Twitter.
It doesn't look at other platforms, doesn't include likely accounts or bots, and isn't indicative of wider Russian attempts to influence the Brexit vote.
@MicrosoftHelps How can I speak to a human about a login issue? I haven’t been able to access my account for over a week due to a bug with two-factor authentication. I’ve paid for a product I can’t use.
@mariaressa Creating legal safeguards to #StopKillerRobots is urgent and possible.
The majority of countries support it, and increasing numbers agree they now have a basis from their int’l discussions and enough common ground to start negotiations.
States know what they need to do.
@SteveMcfirerisk@WrightNever@mariellaf1@HouseofCommons Yes and not. States are not allowed to make someone stateless - as Shamima didn't hold dual nationally she was made stateless when the Home Secretary removed her British citizenship.
@jamesrbuk Musk spreading far right propaganda is an issue but there also needs to be other controls.
Slowing down speed of misinformation (esp in sensitive times such as race riots);and restoring moderators & monitor to counter bad actors.
@renshawman@Smungoflungo@ianmiles@elonmusk@CommunityNotes I understand how it can appear that way but the reality is very different. Close to a dozen laws with a definition of each as well lots of case law.
Main principle is free speech covers everything unless it's a targeted threat to a person/group or inciting violence (list below)
@elonmusk@CommunityNotes Really misleading and helping fuel the far right rhetoric - full background into each case in this thread.

2nd photo is Samuel Melia.
He was not just selling stickers but found guilty of stiring up racial hatred and inciting others to commit violent attacks. A neoNazi and supremacist,who idolised Hitler and he is a leader of the successor group to National Action (a terrorist group)
1st photo: Shaun Tuck - jailed for racially abusing and threatening an Everton fan. Was directly targeting this person due to skin colour.
Might have got a lesser sentence but has also made other posts saying Muslim children should be beheaded and called for race riots.
@CilComLFC Really misleading!
Nelson will likely serve 16 days in prison. This is 60 days - 33% (guilty plea) & early release at 40% of sentence.
On the other hand Natty has already served 2yrs5mos and was due for early release in September. Once out of prison he will be deported.
@WaterIsNotWetL@tennesseedad22@MrAndyNgo I do my best to check everything before posting. Was first covered by the Yorkshire Post, then Mail, Mirror and BBC. Post wording was taken from https://t.co/ydGLK28k6L.
Hope this helps.
@elonmusk@CommunityNotes needs to address this
Samuel Melia was not just selling stickers but found guilty of stiring up racial hatred and inciting others to commit violent attacks. A neoNazi who idolised Hitler and a leader of the successor to National Action (a terrorist group).
@WaterIsNotWetL@tennesseedad22@MrAndyNgo "Every man and his dog should smash the f**k out of the Britannia Hotel" - also other posts organising attacks.
Few horse later the hotel housing refugees was attacked by 50 people while Jordan Parlour stayed at home.
