Kemi is the most approved of political leader.
Might explain some of the desperate smears seen ydy.
The truth is nobody in British politics has done more to fight critical race theory than Kemi.
She was fighting it back when it was hard and unpopular and everybody knows it.
Not what I expected to find in the taxpayer-funded office for the “politically neutral” Leader’s staff of @CllrSimonHogg at Wandsworth Town Hall.
Perhaps @WandswrthLabour would care to arrange for its collection?
🏡Increase council taxes on expensive homes – again
🏘️Allow mayors to introduce rent controls
💰Raise top rate of tax to 50p
🫰Raise wealth taxes by closing capital gains tax loopholes and inheritance tax reliefs
💸Give 2% wealth tax on assets serious consideration

I'm so excited to be starting a new regular column in my old manor @CapX!
Local elections show London is worryingly disconnected from rUK. Though the progressive voting bloc is bigger than the right-wing one, it's more divided, offering hope for the Tories - play it cleverly..
NEW: Majority of voters fear a new PM would pursue a more left-wing economic agenda.
Nearly two thirds (64 per cent) say they would prefer the government to tax less, spend less and reduce borrowing, even if it meant that investment in public services declined.
We have a huge task ahead of us at the town hall, but the advantage of having been honest about the financial challenge. @wandsworth is an incredibly talented group and it’s an honour to serve.
Britain is no longer a free market economy.
A failed consensus has defied basic economics and made us poorer.
What we need is not more political intrigue but an economic transformation on a scale not seen in decades.
The Labour leadership is a side show. Until we make hard choices and return to markets, we will become poorer.
UK political commentary is easily distracted by talk of the colour of the front door whilst the house behind crumbles to the ground. We can’t afford to go on that way.
Below, I set out the revolution we need 👇

Governing today should be about one thing and one thing only: economic growth. Not as a nice to have, not as proof that you’re doing a good job, but as the vital underpinning requirement for everything. This government has never understood that. Chances are no new Labour PM will, either.
Delighted to be re-elected unanimously this evening as Leader of the Conservative Group on Wandsworth Group. Alongside Deputy Leader @peter_graham and Chief Whip @Guy_Humphries, we’re ready to get Wandsworth Council back on track.
Leave the ECHR and repeal the Human Rights Act to secure Britain’s borders.
Scrap green levies and ideological net zero targets to deliver cheaper energy.
Hire 10,000 more police and increase stop and search to make our streets safe.
Restore the two child benefit cap, and face-to-face PIP assessments to get Britain working.
Increase defence spending by £50 billion, using savings made to the welfare budget to defend our country.
Scrap the 3% interest added to Plan 2 student loans and get under 16s off social media to help young people.
That’s what the Conservatives under @KemiBadenoch’s leadership would do.
I’m delighted to have been re-elected to represent Lavender ward, serving alongside my great friend and colleague, @danielrhamilton.
Our majority increased from 93 to 583 on a swing to the Conservatives of 6%.
I feel very lucky to represent such a great part of our great city.
🔵 Wandsworth and Westminster results are marquee ‘wins’ for Kemi Badenochs Conservatives.
Aspirational families are well and truly ‘done’ with Labour and want a credible and honest alternative.
