@MarkUrban01 Airframe numbers are not the true limiting factor currently. It's the shortage of trained personnel - pilots & maintainers, plus spare parts and infrastructure that are driving such poor availability rate.

@FennellJW iPlayer itself as a platform also stands up well against other offerings. The BBC has invested a lot into the technology and has been an innovator from the get go. The fact that they broadcast live programming in 4K makes it essential.
