Complete chaos at #JNB#ORTIA international departures tonight with #ACSA’s new ‘security’ system. International passengers queuing round the block while new security scanners simply remain unused. What an indictment of an international airport and airport ‘management’.
@HomeAffairsSA just crossed the border from Mozambique to South Africa at komatiport. Mozambique side quick and efficient South African side chaos and useless! What utterly useless government officials! Pathetic !! Friends crossed through Beit bridge and Zimbabwe side fantastic
I've been doing this work a long time but nothing prepared me for what I saw on a recent reporting trip in Somalia. I was there to look into rising food and fuel prices from the war in the Middle East landing atop dramatic cuts to the international humanitarian relief system.
@lufthansa a friends bag went missing when he flew London Lufthansa Johannesburg when we tried to contact the agent at OR Tambo airport they said it was still missing and could not trace it. That evening a friend on another flight went to the agent and saw the bag sitting there !
@SANRAL_za the people who run your Vaal Plaza toll are useless ! 2 gates open for all traffic. The trucks blocked the whole place and caused chaos ! Can you not employ people and open more gates ?!!!
Agnes Wanjiru, 21, was killed in 2012 and her body dumped in a septic tank. A former soldier based at the training unit was charged with her murder just last year. Robert Purkiss "vehemently denies" the charge and is fighting extradition to Kenya.
Sky's @YousraElbagir reports
@BBCWorld is now a pathetic version of a 24hr news channel. Does it have no reporters any more.? You get more information from newspapers! Waste of a news channel!
@GPDRT_@SANRAL_za there is a bridge on the R511 that is not big enough for 2 x ore trucks to pass and the surface has been badly damaged! Yet you still allow the ore trucks to use this road like the R512 where 2 trucks crashed on a narrow bridge today ! Is this the best can do !
The Sunday Times uncovered how 17 South African men lured to Russia were promised salaries of R45,000 a month. But they received that amount only once, in September. Even then, they were compelled to donate part of their pay towards the purchase of Russian military equipment for the war.

@Eskom_SA power gone at Pecanwood estate in Broederstroom! It happens at least one e a week for the past 10years. Any normal company would have fixed the problem? Not Eskom who wants more of our money!!
