Another fresh Clifden Nonpareil, trap is in line of sight of stands of Aspen so hopefully established. Heath Rustic, Small Rufous, Centre-barred Sallow, Frosted Orange, Vestal, Pammene aurita & Cloaked Carpet some of the most notables for me amongst 225 of 61.

@PattonJustine @Stewchat Same in E Hampshire, it’s been so poor since June. Heathland species other than Gorse/Broom dwellers either way down in numbers or no show. A reflection of last summers weather or maybe this summers?

A nice selection last night. A presumed female Clifden Nonpareil on size alone, it’s huge! Red Underwing, three Old Lady and a well marked Mirificarma mulinella. Another or the same Clifden evaded the trap and disappeared over the roof at 9:30 in the evening.
